Shipping Policy

Many items on our website are too large and/or heavy to ship via UPS/FedEx, so they are shipped via Truck Delivery. Truck Delivery is different than standard UPS, FedEx, or US Mail. NONE of these items ship for free.

After checkout, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose and email over shipping quotes for your approval. Orders will not be processed until shipping has been approved and paid for. Depending on the shipping method you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Please note, due to rapid fluctuations in the freight shipping industry, shipping quotes are valid for 3 business days and may need to be re-quoted.


Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight/dimension based. 

Most truck delivery companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Items must be accepted within 72 hours of notification of arrival to your local terminal. Any delays will incur storage fees from the carrier, which the customer will be responsible for.

Upon receiving your delivery, please make sure that you inspect the package(s). Freight damage happens on less than 1% of all freight shipments. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason you are concerned with its packaging or delivery, please write, “Product Damaged” clearly on the sheet the delivery agent asks you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem, and your problem will be solved as soon as possible. Also be sure to count the number of pieces received that it matches the number on the sheet (BOL) of the driver before you sign. We will not be able to claim anything after signed received in good condition. In the case of concealed damages, please notify us of damages within 3 days of receiving your item. Once 3 days have passed, we will not be able to file a concealed damage claim and all shipping insurance is void. Insurance claims take UP TO 180 days for complete investigation and no replacements can be provided until the investigation has been cleared as determined by the insurance agents. IF insurance has been cleared we will process your replacement as we would a regular order, which includes regular production and shipping time frames. White glove services are NOT included/covered by insurance. Replacement orders will be shipped via curbside or dock/forklift delivery ONLY.

**Please note that in agreeing to white glove services you also assume all responsibility for supervising the movers/white glove agents when installing your items. Any damages outside or within the building is not liable by ExamTablesDirect. 

How much Does Shipping Cost?

Our website automatically calculates shipping cost based on standard shipping algorithms. In cases where freight cannot be automatically calculated we will contact you via email for shipping quotes. 99% of our items do not include shipping. Please make sure to look at the "Shipping" tab on the item listing to see if shipping is included. We reserve the right to make the necessary corrections due to an electronic error. If the corrected amount results in a higher shipping fee of over $5.00, in such cases you will be contacted for approval prior to shipment.

  • Threshold Delivery (Inside the first set of doors to the building. Please note to ensure service, your door must be of adequate width to accommodate the pallet(s)
  • Room of choice delivery (Item(s) will be brought into your room of choice)
  • Full Service In Room & Assembly. Your order will be:
    • delivered to the room of your choice
    • unpacked
    • assembled
    • Item(s) placed in room position of your preference
    • Removal of all trash, boxes, and pallets

 

When Will My Order Arrive?
Lead Time:

Every product on our site has an estimated Lead Time - the number of business days it takes for an item to be processed, certified, produced, and prepared for shipment at the warehouse. We do not provide guaranteed lead times due to the nature of how the items are custom made to order directly with the manufacturer. Please contact us before placing your order for current estimated lead times on the product you're interested in. 

 

For “in-stock quickship” items every effort is made to process and ship within 1-2 business days as long as you have selected to add on the quickship option to your order. This does not include transit time or carrier errors. If you add a quickship item into your cart and do not select the option to add on quickship, your order will undergo regular production. Orders received after 1:00 PM EST time will ship the following business day. Please note that weekends and holidays are not considered “business days”.
